Recipe: See? You Do Like Brussels Sprouts

Side Dishes - Vegetables
SEE? YOU DO LIKE BRUSSELS SPROUTS

2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon brown sugar (optional)
1 head cauliflower, separated
1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half lengthwise

In a large bowl, combine the garlic, red pepper flakes, balsamic vinegar, olive oil (and the brown sugar, if you want it.) Toss in the cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. Marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.

Oil the bottom of a large baking pan then spoon the veggies onto it. Don't pour the marinade over them. It will just make a big mess. You can re-use any marinade that's left over.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 to 30 minutes, until the veggies are tender.
