Recipe: Sherry: Tomato and Apple Butter

This is the only one I found with apples and tomatoes. Unfortunately, it's also the only tomato butter recipe without directions. Most said to peel and cut tomatoes, cook everything until thick, pour into hot, sterilized jars and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes. I hope this comes close to what you were looking for.

Tomato and Apple Butter

1 pt. tomato pieces
1 pt. apple pieces
3 c. sugar
1 small stick cinnamon
1 orange, juice and grated rind
