Recipe(tried): Sofrito from Texas

Hello Danielle....

The way I make my Sofrito is equal parts Garlic, Green Pepper, Onion, and Cilantro.

I put all into a food processor and blend, the result is great eating!!

Then I break it down into small freezer type containers (plan on only using them for sofrito - because they will smell), and when I need some I just put a container in the fridge.....

I learned it this way, and boy - oh - boy does it smell and taste great when I make my rice or meat dishes. I fry my rice or meat first and then add a little in the pan with a little more olive oil, just a couple of tablespoons, but be careful not to burn it, then I add my Goya powder, and there you have it.....I hope this helps.
