Recipe(tried): Stuffed Dates

Stuffed Dates

Whole pitted dates
8oz cream cheese
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup pecan halves

Make a slit in the dates, careful not to cut completely through to the otehr side. Set aside.

Cream together cream cheese, confectioners' cugar, vanilla until smooth. Add chopped nuts and blend well. Spoon filling into each date, top with pecan half. Refrigerate leftovers.
