Recipe: Stuffed French Toast

Stuffed French Toast
Wow, one of the most outstanding breakfast dishes I've ever been served. All you need to accompany it is some fruit.

1 loaf of sourdough bread, cubed
Sliced cream cheese
2 1/2 cups milk
8 eggs
1 cup maple syrup
Pinch of cinnamon
1/2 cup melted butter

Spray 9-inch baking dish with Pam. Layer as follows: bread, sliced cream cheese, bread.
Mix milk, eggs and 1/2 cup maple syrup. Pour over casserole making sure that bread is saturated. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 2 hours at 350 . Pour mixture of 1/2 cup syrup and 1/2 cup melted butter over all.
