Recipe(tried): Sunday Dinner at Our House - Citrus Baked Ham

Menus
Hello, friends! Today we had a traditional winter meal. We had: baked ham, Macaroni and Cheese with Wine, rutabagas, CLAUSSEN Pickles, Vidalia onions, Mama's Angel Rolls, and sweet tea with lemon.

This is the first time that I have baked a ham using this "homemade" recipe. The ham was really tender and delicious! I used the AROMA Roaster and baked the ham in it.

CITRUS BAKED HAM

6-8 lb. butt portion ham, rinsed and patted dry
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup ginger ale
1 jar sweet and sour sauce

Spray the roaster with PAM. Place ham in the roaster. Mix the juice and the ginger ale together and pour over the ham. Baste with ginger ale/orange juice mixture every hour. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Reduce heat and bake at 250 degrees for 2 hours.

Remove the ham from the roaster and discard cooking liquid. Place the ham back into the roaster and cover with the jar of sweet and sour sauce. Let the ham "rest" for 15-20 minutes before slicing.

Happy Sunday!
