TUNA AND GREEN BEANS
2 cans (10 1/2 oz. each) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
2 cans (7 oz. each) tuna, drained and flaked
1 1/2 to 2 cups cooked green beans*
Dash of pepper
Lemon Rice (recipe follows)
Buttered crumbs
Combine soup and milk in saucepan. Heat, stirring occasionally. Add tuna, green beans, and pepper. Heat thoroughly.
Add Lemon Rice and mix lightly. Place mixture in a 2-quart casserole, sprinkle with buttered crumbs.
Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly browned.
*Use canned green beans or cook 1 (10 oz.) package Birds Eye Cut Green Beans.
LEMON RICE
2 2/3 cups Minute Rice
1 tablespoon grated lemon rind
1 teaspoon salt
2 2/3 cups boiling water
Combine all ingredients for the Lemon Rice together in a saucepan. Mix just to moisten all rice. Cover, remove from heat, and let stand 5 minutes. Lightly mix in 3 tablespoons butter.
Makes 8 servings
