Recipe(tried): White Fudge (using evaporated milk)

Desserts - Candy, Chocolate
This receipe is one of my mother's that has remained popular with all her children. It isn't Christmas without it! Hopefully it will be a solution for you.

WHITE FUDGE

1 14 ounce can evaporated milk
1/3 cup crystal corn syrup
1/4 pound butter
5 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

Melt butter, milk and syrup together over low heat; add sugar, 1 cup at a time. Let boil after each cup of sugar is added. Boil to 232 degrees, stirring constantly. Let cool to 150 degrees. beat with an electric mixer until thick and light. Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into a well greased 9 inch square pan.

Candy improves if it ages 2-3 days before cutting.
