ISO: 1-2-3-4 cake with variations (specially chocolate)

Made a 1-2-3-4 cake today and absolutely loved it!! So now I would like different variations, such as lemon, spice, and chocolate. I love the texture of the cake and would love to have that texture on a chocolate cake also.
