ISO: Almond Heydays - Wafer layer order

I am so excited to try this recipe! The only question I had was the final order of the wafers. The order I have, which I don't think is right, is:
Wafer
Chocolate layer
Wafer
Caramel layer
Wafer
Caramel layer w/ nuts and sprinkled chocolate
The recipe seems to read that the chocolate should be on the bottom, but then I am unclear what makes it stick to the rest of the bar.
I am sure that even with the order wrong, its still going to be good. Can't wait for it to cool!
