ISO: Apple bars
Misc.At one time I made this apple bar that was really good, but i lost the recipe. It calls for flour, sugar, spices, and probably butter. Before liquids is added approx. 1/3 to 1/2 of the flour/butter mixture is put into a 9X13, pressed and baked a bit. The rest has the egg, liquid, apples etc. added to it and poured on the crust, and baked again. Does this sound anything like what you may tried in the past?
