ISO: Apple cookies (using dried apples)

Am looking for a cookie recipe that uses dried apples. Every recipe I see for apple cookies call for fresh apples. Tasted these cookies awile back and loved them. Looked all over the web and can't find any recipe for cookies using dried apples. I think the name of the cookies I tasted was Apple Crisp Cookies. Any recipe will be greatly appreciated.
