ISO: Boston Pizza's Cactus Cut Potatoes

Misc.
I was just wondering if any of you have ever tried the Cactus Cut Potatoes from Boston Pizza? If so, has anyone figured out how to cook the potatoes? They are sliced really thin and then deep fried, however they have a unique spicy flare to them that I can't seem to put my finger on. Any ideas?!?!?! I have the dip recipe that goes along with them but without the potatoes it doesn't do much good! Thanks in advance!
