ISO: Cavendar Greek Seasoning (copycat recipe and information)
Herbs and SpicesI found Cavendar Greek seasoning is still available at Walmart online. Perhaps you could purchase it there or if you want to make your own there are several copycat recipes I have found. I have not tried any of them to see which matches the flavor best.
GREEK SEASONING CLONE

Makes 1/4 cup
Serve with steaks, chicken, or fish.
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules, (or pareve bouillon)
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Combine all ingredients, and store in an airtight container.

"This is meant to substitute for that rather expensive Greek seasoning in the yellow and red can."
2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons dried Greek oregano
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried rosemary, minced
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Store in an airtight container. Alternately, blend spices in a spice grinder for a finer texture.
