ISO: Crystallized Ginger recipe

Does anyone have a recipe to share for making candied (crystallized) ginger. I have a wonderful recipe for triple ginger ginger bread but the cost of the crystallized ginger for 1/2 cut of crystallized ginger makes it way too expensive. Thanks for any help.
