ISO: Jack's restaurant carrot ginger soup

Jack's restaurant in downtown Albany, NY, served a fabulous carrot-ginger soup on Saturday, May 1, as its special soup of the day. Does anyone know Jack's recipe? The best carrot-ginger soup I've ever had. I detected orange in it, as well. Thanks!
