ISO: Little Budapest Hungarian Hurka Sausage

Yes it seems that anybody that grew up in Lethbridge, was well acqainted to the "Hurka", that was first made in a little Hungarian Restuarant if my memory serves me right it was called "Little Budapest" and it was located across from the Hungarian Hall. After the owners closed up shop and retired, you were only able to get this famous "Hurka" from a lady who's name was Margot. Both she and her husband have passed away, with them went the recipe for this famous "Hurka". Have purchased it from other Hungarians in Lethbridge, but they never equal the "Hurka" that was made in the restuarant or by Margot.

There are many people that miss and regret that this recipe, it is too bad that it didn't get handed down to other people. We have purchased "Hurka" done by other Hungarians here. But they will never be like Margot's "Hurka".
