ISO: Macaroni and Cheese

I am looking for a recipe for Mac and Cheese. Not a soupy Mac and Cheese but a topping that is brown (no croutons) and it's really together. When you cut it, it's firm. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could send a recipe to me like this. Thanks so much. Anne
