ISO: Marshmallow coconut cookies

Need help. My mother wants a certain cookie for her 93rd birthday. She describes the cookie as a favorite she ate as a child and apparently was sold at least until 2000. It has a vanilla cookie base topped with marshmallow and dipped in coconut. I've seen the cookie covered in chocolate, but not in coconut. If not available in the stores, I need a recipe to make them. Thank you
