Hello,
This is a little late, but my group is not fond of pie crusts, so I use the recipe for Bisquick dumplings, adding seasoning (poulry seasoning is fastest) along with parsley flakes. I drop lumps of the dough over a basic chicken/vegetable mix that has been simmering for about 20 minutes (depending on my refridgerator and whims) and then pour the simmering mix in a casserole and add dumplings, and bake for about 15-20 minutes until the dumplings are browned. It may not look perfect, but it is the ultimate in comfort food!
