ISO: Root of a Tapioca plant or cassava root?
Misc.I have a tapioca root or cassava root that I picked from a plant today. How do I treat this and what can I make with it? I have used yucca root, is this the same? I looked it up and am confused because in some of the text it appeared that all I had to do was cook it like any other starchy root, and as I kept reading it instructed to drain the water because of chemicals the root has. I am totally confused. Also, can this root be stored for a period of time.
