ISO: snack cake with 12 versions

i am looking for a snack cake recipe that i had got around 20 years ago . it was a basic recipe with 12 versions. some were chocolate chip, spice,
double chocolate, applesauce etc. it was very moist, did not need frosting. no matter how short of cash you were you usual had ingredients for at least one version. thank you
ps i lost the original in the flood of "95"
