ISO: Steak and Shake Chili

Misc.
It seems none of the above recipes is close. I have tried all these and then went to S&S for the real thing. Something is missing and nothing seems close to the original.

If you give them $2.99, you can buy a 15 oz can of the real S&S chili. They have a web site www.goodchili.com where you can order a case of 15 oz cans for $45.

The ingredients on the side of the can are as follows
water
beef
beans
Chili Seasonings (Chili Pepper, Flavor (including Paprika), Dried Garlic, Salt, Food Starch-Modified, Salt, Soy Lecithin, Extract of Paprika, Natural Flavors

No mention of Coke (diet or otherwise), same for the Cocoa Powder. Natural flavors can cover a lot of ingredients. Paprika is mentioned twice on the can ingredients. None of the S&S recipes posted contain this ingredient.

P.S. - The stuff in the can is identical to the restaurant product in taste and texture. Hope these hints will encourage some enterprising chef to press forward.
