ISO: sweet corn tamales of cheesecake factory

Misc.
I made the cakes. Should I have THAWED the frozen corn because it bacame ice cube hard in the food processor. It never became 'PUREED' and when mixed in with the room temp butter it froze from the ice cold corn. Is a liquid missing from the cake part or should the 'frozen corn' be thawed first??
