ISO: what to do with left over sweet potatoes?

A dear friend gave me a quart of prepared sweet potatoes, including some nuts. My family won't eat them. Any ideas on how to incorporate them into something else? They taste a lot like the Cuban potato that was served in a restaurant along side black beans. Thanks for any help. I hate to waste them, and I can't eat them alone!
