Hi Elly - thanks for this recipe, it sounds so good, and easy, too. How were your holidays. We went up north for two weeks, and both came home with bad colds and deep chest coughs that we can't shake. We keep hearing everyone around us hacking away with that same cough.

We got our fill of snow and cold weather for sure! I doubt we will ever do that again, although we had a wonderful time up there with family from both sides.

I'm really enjoying the new crockpot. I had one for years, but sold it at my yard sale when leaving our place in Mass. - thought I'd never use it again, but now with all these good recipes and ideas from everyone, I'm using my new one at least two or three times weekly.
