Thank You: Gina, thank-you!
Misc.these look sooo good, I can't wait to try them!
Did you know pecorino cheese is made from goat's milk? I just found out the other week. I just love feta, and pecorino. Don't you?
I went thru my freezer and I have quite a stockpile of shrimp I got on sale. I think on Sunday I will serve some with the pasta dish above.
Tomorrow night, I think we will make it out to a neighbouring community where there is a Caribbean roti house. I used to get it at a hole-in-the-wall place in Toronto, years ago. I can't wait for my family to try it! Afterward, we will likely take in a movie. As it needs to be a crowd-pleaser, we will probably see "Nacho Libre". Lotsa yuks in store for us!
Very soon, maybe starting this Sunday, my boys will pick blueberries at a farm up the street from us. They have applied for other jobs, and are still waiting (and hoping) to hear. Meanwhile they will pick berries...my sister in Ontario had blueberries from here last year, and wondered if they were the very ones my Mike had picked...a nice thought, yes?
Thanks again for the lovely recipes, I do so miss you when you go away :-(
Your friend,
Carolyn
p.s. I agree, Giada is lovely and a great cook, too...just like you!
