I have been looking for a sancocho recipe for 4 yrs now and this looks just like the one I have wanted. I went to a party once where this was served. My friend is from Costa Rica but doesn't cook though she told her husband she made it. When in fact, her friend from PR made it but I was unable to get the recipe because she doesn't speak English and though my friend translated and wrote it down with no measurements ,the results were not good. At least now I have a concrete recipe to work with. Thank you!
