Thank You: Thank You Pat

Misc.
Hi Pat,
All of your ideas sound great. One question, do you do the turkey ahead of time? I was thinking maybe I would do the turkeys the day before, get it all sliced up and put it in 9x13 baking dishes with some chicken broth, refrigerate and then reheat the next day.
I have done mashed potatoes the day before and reheated in the microwave or slow cooker. I will have some help with the peeling, slicing, mashing.
My kids like my stuffing when it is done in a dish, so I will probably put it together the day before and bake it on Thanksgiving.
By the way, I have been making Shepherds pie with your same recipe since my kids were little, and they always called it "Hamburger Pie". My Husband always asks for it whenever we have leftover mashed taters.
Thanks again for responding.
