You are welcome . No I don't do the turkey ahead Your idea sounds good though. I love the smell of the turkey cooking on a cool day with the rumblings of the football game in the background- it's just part of the tradition for me

We also love the shepherds pie and I think I will experiment with maybe corn and taco seasoning to give it a mexican flair( actually it is just an excuse to eat mashed potatoes)

Do you have the recipe for the breakfast casserole- the one you prepare the night before -if not I will forward I usually do t his one if I am having overnight guests in large numbers
