AJ in MD, re: egg in the crust...

I too, am skiddish about raw eggs (although I did it for years without knowing the dangers). You will be putting the egg into a warm mixture so it MIGHT be alright but I don't think I would chance it myself. Remedy:use the equivalent in Egg Beaters and it will come out just fine-they are pasturized and therefore..no danger. Hope you give them a try-they are similar to a cookie form of Andes Mints.
