Brendy ~ Exactly as I remember hamburger toast

Misc.
Brenda and Carolyn ~ What a fond memory. Brenda describes it exactly as we made these in our family. Sometimes we would put cheese slices between the bread and the hamburger. And sometimes we would put thinly sliced green pepper on top of the hamburger.

I remember not making the hamburger too thick AND trying to cover all of the bread... to the edges... to help keep the bread from burning.

Thank you for reminding me of this great comfort food from my past. Sounds like my dinner for tonight, for sure!

Thanks again.
