Recipe: Electric Skillet Oriental Hamburger Casserole (using condensed cream soups and instant rice)

1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup water
1 cup uncooked instant rice (Minute rice)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup chow mein noodles
Preheat electric skillet at 325 degrees F. Add ground beef and onion. Brown well.
Add remaining ingredients except noodles. Bring to a boil.
Turn heat control down until light goes out. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
Sprinkle with chow mein noodles. Heat through.
