Davidson's books and others...

I've read all of her books. I feel I've gotten to know the characters. I've only tried one recipe. It was called Babsie Tarts and the story had something to do with a show for doll collectors. Everyone loved the tarts and I will definately make them again. I especially love reading about food. I think in my past life I was a caterer.
Another good series is the Madeline Bean Mystery Series. I don't know the author but you can find it on Amazon. Also another series is the Pennsylvania-Dutch Mystery Series With Recipes by Tamar Myers. They will give you a good chuckle.
