Recipe(tried): Diane Mott Davidson's Lemon Butter Wafers -- The Best
Misc. These are great but take a long time to make. This is another one that you need to read the whole recipe before starting. Even with softened butter it took 15-20 minutes to get the butter and sugar creamy. The dough was still soft after 3 hours in a cold fridge so I'd try leaving it in overnight and only take out enough to do two cookie sheets at a time. Also, using a level 1/2 Tbsp. is very time consuming -- try dropping a small amount from a teaspoon. Since they really flatten out, you need to make sure there is enough space between them.
