Recipe: Marinated French Dip Sandwiches (Wyler's Bouillon, 1991)

Sandwiches
MARINATED FRENCH DIP SANDWICHES

2 cups water
1/3 cup ReaLemon Lemon Juice from Concentrate
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons Wyler's Beef-Flavor Instant Bouillon
1 teaspoon thyme leaves
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 (2 pound) beef brisket, pierced

In shallow baking dish, combine all ingredients except meat; add meat. Cover; marinate in refrigerator 6 hours or overnight, turning occasionally

WHEN READY TO COOK:
Place roast in a baking pan with marinade. Cover and roast at 325 degrees F for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until tender, turning after 45 minutes. Remove meat from baking dish; reserve marinade.

Slice meat; serve on French bread with marinade. Refrigerate leftovers.

Makes 6-8 servings
