Fondue meats

Misc.

Hi Todd I remeber well fondue like you decribed. That was all i knew of fondue for years! had it regularly oh way back .... Dad's favorite!

He used a mix 1/2 oil 1/2 butter not too full either

He used serloin steaks (expensive tastes!) that were somtimes marinated in dressing then cut up he might have used other meats?

sauces were varied -- as per taste and fridge contents. always had 3 or so mustard based white creamy & an oily one different every time!

If you run a search here there was a gal -- Janie prehaps who was kind enough to post all of her favorite sauces last winter i think -- if you cna't find it let me know and i'll search it for you .... i'd start with search all tkl for "fondue"

Oh and dad & step mom would alway have a Romaine salad with a homade winigarette on it along with the fondue and we'd play dominoes or dice as we ate ...
ENJOY!
