Recipe(tried): Hope this helps

Misc.

Hi there,

I have used my Fondue many times for a full meal. I just use normal canola or
corn oil. To tell how much oil to put in try inserting one of your forks into
the pot to see how much you should put in. Keep in mind that the level will
raise a little once you have placed a few forks with food in it. I usually
heat my pot with the oil on the stove first because it usually takes a little
while to heat up.

Here are some of the things I use when fonduing.
Cubes of Steak
Cubes of Chicken
Little hamburger balls (sometimes I'll put cheese in the centre)
Shrimp
Scallops
Green Pepper
Whole Mushrooms
Water Chestnuts
Cherry Tomotoes
Cans of Cooked Whole Potatoes (they work well)

I'll just serve lots of rolls and wine along with these things. Have a few
different dipping sauces like sweet & sour, bar-b-q and seafood sauce. You
could also have a separate fondu with cheese for dipping your bread, hamburger
etc. in.

Just stick some stuff on your fork, place in fondue until it looks like it is
cooked. The oil cooks your food quite quickly...I know some people use
bouillon instead of oil but I think that would take longer to cook the food
because it doesn't get as hot.

Well good eating and please let me know if you have any more questions.
