Response to help on fondue pot

Hi Kathy. Don't panic, I don't think fondue pots come electric. The one I own is heated by a sterno can that sits beneath the pot(which is charming actually).
In addition, there isn't a heck of a lot you can do with a fondue pot besides make cheese dips (there are many) chocolate dips (ditto there) and hot oil for cooking meats (Mongolian hotpot).
Fondue pots and theme parties are making a big comeback anyway. How can you lose?
