Funny, I've Been Thinking of Your Spinach Pie, Carolyn!

Hello Miss Carolyn!

Haven't heard from you in a while, I suppose the cold weather has you bundled in indoors.

I have been thinking of your yummy Spinach Pie for the past few days and I think I will be making it today! You know how much I really enjoy that pie too!!

Tell me, what have you been up to lately? There haven't been any yard sales lately around here either!

I started walking 1 mile every morning since January 1st. I get up around 5:15AM to make DH his oatmeal and pack his special lunch and as soon as I see the light of day, around 7AM, I get my sneakers on and go! At first I was dreading it as I am not an exercise-type person, but now I look forward to it. It was mighty cold this morning too! DH made me wear gloves and put on a tee-shirt underneath a sweater-type shirt I had on. I wore shorts too!! Boy was it invigorating!! He went walking too but is much faster so he leaves me behind to go my way. My goal is to lose at least 30 pounds by April. Wish me luck!

Keep Warm Carolyn! Hugs from Gina
