Once you are down here for a winter or two, your skin acclimates and it does feel cold. It is cold, I agree with you...and it is going to get colder tonight I hear.

Cover your impatiens with some sheets for warmth. If they catch any of the cold predicted, their stems will freeeze on you. I am bringing in any potted plants I have and the ones that are planted will get covered with sheets.

Yes, this is soup season for sure. Another yummy soup is the one made from a chuck roast/pot roast dinner. Just add water to the contents along with some frozen veggies and a potato or two cut up and yummmmm! If you have any nice soup recipes, I would love to hear about them!
