Gina- I'm anxious to read your travelogues!

DH & I are making a trip up to Michigan next week, heading up I-75 thru Georgia and I have to look on the map at just whereabouts you'll be living soon. Is it mountainous country there? I'm looking forward to some descriptions of the area, because if we get into a hurricane pattern down here, who knows where we might want to escape to. What are the winters like up there?

I loved the photo of your new kitchen - it's beautiful.

I'm sure you will miss your Mama alot - your posts always talk about you and she doing things together, and how I missed that with my mother after we moved down here. It's good that your mother has a support network of friends in her apartment. It's one of the reasons we love living here in our little community on the Caloosahatchee - everyone looks out for everyone else, like one big extended family.
