Hello Yetty!!

Misc.
Hello Yetty,

Your posting made my morning I must say, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Your are kind to share your sentiments!

I am happy to report that Little Boy is eating well and doing fine at the litter box. This morning he curled up by me in bed and sort of turned upside down and purred loudly, oh it made me glad to see him like that!! I still havae to watch him carefully for the next two weeks and keep him on his special diet for 2 months. This morning my wonderful DH fed the other two in the kitchen while I took care of Little Boy in the laundry room.

I have been reading with great interest a book by Pat Lazarus, "Keep your Cat Healthy the Natural Way"....very, very interesting facts about the canned food industry and what they put in there for our little ones. The book also has a list of Holistic Vets in the back. These Vets approach the care of cats naturally and the book is full of true stories of very sick kitties that they have brought back from death's door. They advocate the use of Vitamins and organ meats supplemented with grains and veggies. This morning I will be visiting the Health Food store to get some Vitimin C and E for him for his food. These are great healers in kitties.

Here's an interesting fact I learned...by sprinkling Brewer's Yeast on your kitties coat, it will ward off those nasty fleas. When he grooms himself and ingests the Brewer's Yeast, this will help him greatly.

Oh how our pets weave their way into our hearts...

Please don't say you will not post anymore, your feelings and writing were very touching to me. I am positive that you have some yummy recipes hiding somewhere that you can share with us as well as a story from time to time. I am eager to hear from you again, Yetty! You live on the other side of the world from us and that alone should make for some very interesting stories about the people, culture and foods....

Your Friend, Gina
