Hey there Gina, the movie was very well done...

Misc.
Of course, the topic is a very serious one, so it is not light and fluffy; but it is well told and heartwarming. My whole family got a lot out of it.

Today we have another wind warning. We all get nervous when we hear this; a few years ago, we had a terrible windstorm, and many people were without power for days. So we all prick up our ears when we get a wind warning.

Next week, my kids have spring break. Luis is taking the week off, but I will be working. On Saturday after lunch, we are going into Vancouver for some window shopping and an Ethiopian dinner. We are going to stay overnight, watch a movie in the hotel room, and go for a workout and a swim using the hotel facilities. Then it's back home; I have a baby shower to attend on Sunday afternoon. And I probably will want to be in a room with more estrogen, after two days with "my guys"!

I have the flu, and this morning Luis got up with the kids and made them breakfast and took them to school. I slept a wee bit more after they cleared out. I had kind of a rough night, what with all the coughing. And my elbows and knees are sore (joints). Anyway, I am up and about now; will get myself off to work in a bit.

Yesterday, both my internet and my phone were down! How about that?...I was stranded!

Have a great one! We are having Italian wedding soup for dinner tonight, with some nice crusty multigrain baguette.
I have made a point of eating less for dinner in the past couple of weeks, and have lost a couple of pounds...it is quite effortless!

hugs,

Carolyn!
