I still have 3 of my 4 pots and

we use them - tho not as much as at one time.

We usually fix a cheese fondue at Xmas time when every one is here and sitting around the fire. Nice and relaxing - and good. But if I made it now just for my husband and I'd we have cholesterol over-dose!

Used to make a lot of the beef, shrimp, etc. fondues with the hot oil .... but I guess I'll have to check over the recipes and adjust for our present diet restrictions.

My grown kids have fondue pots - but they're always borrowing the fondue divided plates and forks when they're planning a party.

I do think that they came back into popularity about a year or 2 ago -- after a long decline.

I do use the pots for other things tho -- if we're having a party, I'll use them to keep appetizers warm -- or a sauce, etc.
