MUELLER'S SPAGHETTI SOUTHERN STYLE
1 package Mueller's Spaghetti
1 pound veal cutlet
1 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons butter or bacon fat
1 cup tomato paste
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
ground black pepper (to taste)
Cook spaghetti as directed and drain.
Cut veal in small cubes; brown with onion in hot fat.
Add tomato paste, boiling water, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to boiling point and simmer for about 20 minutes.
Put layer of spaghetti in greased baking dish, add a layer of meat and tomato mixture and continue until all the ingredients are used.
Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees F., about 20 minutes.
