Info on food mills

Misc.

I use my food mill a lot -- most recently for making grape jam. I have a Foley food mill -- you'll need to try "kitchen stores" (or catalog/Web site), not department stores. I've never seen one at a department or even a large discount store. I got mine at a garage sale many years ago. It's a mechanical device with a crank handle and angled blades that push the pulp through a screen at the bottom, but leave the skin and seeds inside the mill. Works like a charm. Good luck.
