Infusion Cookware

I saw an infomercial today on T.V. It was about Infusion Cooking, they called it. The cost of the cookware was "10 easy payments of $49.99 ($500 buckarees), American, I might add, I'm a Canadian and with the dollar down and falling that's pretty steep.
Anyhow, the principal seemed to be cooking under pressure. Does anybody know if that in fact is all it is, or is it something more, because I know you can buy a good pressure cooker for about 1/5 of this price? The only difference I could see in the process was the "ease" in locking and unlocking the lid, you simply put it on the pot and pressed down this handle/knob gizmo that's attached to the lid, kinda like locking a tupperware container. They made a beef stew in about 8 minutes, they also dumped raw penne macaroni, a jar of spaghetti sauce, a hunk of meat altogether into one of these pots and in just a few minutes, opened it and lo and behold everything was cooked and ready to eat. Any info on this would be much appreciated.
