Jackie, what a pretty-sounding pie!

Misc.
I have always wanted to try one of the recipes for the 4th that are red, white and blue, like the jello ones you see advertised or the poundcake, cool whip one with fruit on top. Haven't been to many group celebrations on our 4th of Julys married to a law man and living in the boonies most of our lives. I try not to have lots of desert around the house now that South Beach has more or less taken over here. Perhaps I'll splurge this year, your pie post sounds great!-Micha
