Misc.

well. My 7 year old wants an under-the-sea theme. I've been looking around
for fabrics but haven't seen anything suitable yet. Thought I'd make a cover
for her current pastel Minnie Mouse comforter and keep a lot of things neutral
so that we're not locked in to the ocean theme forever. There are so many
accessories to give it "the look" rather than overdoing the fish motif on
curtains etc. I though I might attempt a partial "canopy" suspended from the
ceiling. Also fish and such hanging at different levels. We'll see what
works. Possibly stenciling/painting too. (First we need to declutter.)

Have you ever tuned into Christopher Lowell's "Interior Motives" on the
Discovery Channel? It's all about decorating on a budget and his you-can-do-it
attitude is so inspirational!

Your daughter's room sounds so cute!
